1st April 2011 - A personal thank you
Could I thank all of those who attended our WebEx powered workshops and worked with us on the LSIS Skills and Employer Responsiveness programme? Whilst the project has come to an end, one of the really positive outcomes is that we are delighted to announce that we will continue our relationship with Cisco WebEx and develop our online portfolio with them further. Whilst we have worked with many people on this successful project, we would like to particularly thank Stewart, Terry, Kate, Jason, Abi and Simon from the 157 Group and the Association of Learning Providers. Max Ashurst and Darren from Cisco along with Nancy Williams, an expert on Social Media Marketing and Sue Hunter - an expert on National Apprenticeships plus Vicky Reynolds from the National Apprenticeship Service have been a delight to work with. Max in particular has put in time well above what might be considered reasonable and we are indebted to Darren for allowing him time to work with us. Everyone has been highly supportive and we hope there is another project soon that helps both independent and non-independent learning providers continue to develop their ability to deliver learning that learners and their employers need.
